2024 Flying Scot Women's and Junior's Invitational Regatta

Deep Creek Yacht Racing Association proudly hosts the 33rd annual Women's and Junior's Invitational Regatta.  This year's regatta is in memory of Geri Meehan, a driving force in promoting women's and junior's sailing at Deep Creek Lake.
The Regatta will be a 2 day regatta with 4 fleets and up to 5 races. The races will be back-to-back with a make your own lunch provided at DCYC before the races each morning.
  • 3 Women's Fleets (female skipper with any gender crew in all fleets):
    • Champions (experienced)
    • Silver (intermediate)
    • Challengers (novice/beginners)
  • 1 Junior Fleet:
    • Skipper must be 18 years or younger and any gender, and crew can be any age/gender
    • ALSO, There will be a fun-filled Saturday night dinner and party with Chef Quoc Tran and the 80’s band “Guys in Thin Ties” at DCLSA. All Regatta sailors will be welcome to sign up! Sign up coming soon!
